Dear David, Commuting between Bakersfield and LA in the mid seventies, I was probably somewhere near Gorman when I first heard "Holdin on to Yesterday". The richness of the instruments and particularly the vocals made me pull over till the song was over (I was in a Karman Ghia whose motor was at war with the radio...and winning. That began a lifelong admiration for Ambrosia previously reserved for only the Beatles, Buffalo Springfield and Burton Cummings (eclectic mix, huh?) The darkest hours of being an Ambrosia fan were from the mid eighties til the mid nineties when you all had disappeared and CD's of your music were non- existent. I even called Hilburn of the LA Times looking for you. What does he know? Glad you're back and through the miracle of modern technology more accessible than ever. Thanks for all the music. Sincerely, Rich Johnson RickyOtis@AOL.com;Tuesday, May 26th at 4:37PM

I have more comments than can possibly fit in this little square. I think the main thing I'd like to say is how much your music has moved me. Both with Ambrosia and solo. No one has ever written a song for me. But if they had, I wish it had been "Biggest Part of Me". That song is so special. It's how you'd want someone to feel about you. It's how you'd want them to write it all down. I count it a blessing to have found your music and I know without a doubt where your incredible talent comes from. Thank you for making a portion of my life grand.;Tuesday, May 26th at 8:16PM

THANK YOU NOTE Thanks for the passion and joy I hear in your voice! Unlike many of your fans, I discovered the voice before I dis- covered the group Ambrosia. When I heard songs like "Biggest Part of Me," and "Your The Only Woman" it sparked my interest; but when I heard you sing on Kerry Livgren's "Seeds of Change Album" my interest grew into curiosity. When I bought your solo album in '85, I realy began to respect and appreciate your talents and the comfort it brought to my life. Over the years, its been a great pleasure to here you now and then on songs by such artists as Bryan Duncan, Tim Miner, Maranatha, Bette Midler, Mastadon, Pam Thum and others. Your voice, many times in the background really makes a song complete. The other day, I heard a radio ad for a July 4th concert Bryan Duncan will be involved in and they played a music clip which included your background vocals!!! Bryan's voice wasn't even played! I'll be in San Francisco the week of June 7th, and was hoping you or Ambrosia had a concert somewhere close but I guess you guys have lots of other things going. I'll be watching for any concerts in the Dallas area. Again, thanks for using the talents God has blessed you with. Your inspiring voice has pulled me through a lot of tough times. God bless. Kevin & Sandy Campbell;Chino Hills, CA;USA;kvcampbell@catpower.com;Dave, I have been a fan of yours and Ambrosia since the first album. I was too young (and stupid) to make your first tours, but have caught up over the last six years or so at he local clubs. We have seen you guys at the Strand, Ventura Concert Theater and the Coach House. Hope to catch you this year in Santa Ana. We have all of your Ambrosia Records and the new CD and some Benoit stuff. Love all of it. My personal favorites include all of the first two albums and a lot of the more pop stuff from 180 on. We would go nuts for "Running Away" at one of your shows. Any chance? Please. Also, see if you can talk Joe into "Fool Like Me". Regards, life long fans, Kevin and Sandy Reagards;Friday, June 5th at 5:56PM

Hey Dave, I really appreciate your talent and the wonderful talent of Joe, Burleigh and Chris. I would like Chris to know that I'd like to hear more from him. He seems so shy (except on the keyboards)! Dave, I have never seen Ambrosia in concert live, and I am willing to visit L.A. or someplace in California to see the band but I need to know of your concert dates. I have family in California so I'm over due for a visit. Seeing Ambrosia would be the icing on the cake. There is a department stroe in Montgomery, AL that plays "How much I feel" every single day. I always played it, now people who knew I had the song are asking me who is the band and whose voice is singing and the like. I read that you did the keyboards and several other instruments on that number. I'm a keyboardist as well and I was pleased to find out that you are so versatile. Tell the guys hello, and we, the fans are eagerly waiting for all the imput you guys can muster. From a true fan, Phyllis J. Ford-Jones;Thursday, June 11th at 11:14AM

Dear David, Thanks to you and Ambrosia for years of timeless songs. I, like many others, want to know how to get ahold of your solo CD. Hopefully you can release this soon. Writing songs is also a big part of my life. It's so nice to have had an inspirational group, as yours while I grew my writing talents. Please have Alan Parsons get you for his next release. David Pack: I am so happy that you now have a website. I am a fan and an artist/writer tremendously influenced by your keen sense of melody. Thank you for "Biggest Part of Me", "How Much I Feel", "You're the Only Woman" . . . So many emotions tied to each composition, each cord change. But mostly, "That Girl Is Gone" . .. It really moves me. I think I might attempt a remake one day. The smae for the litlle known "Just Be You" from your solo record. Of course I love when you ad Patti Austin get together. I'd love to hear about the hook-up there and what the working relationship is like. I know she dedicated her self-titled album (THE FUNK!) to an Elizabeth Pack . . . Also, "I Will Remeber You" is lovely! Whose idea matched Patti and your wonderful "I Just Can't Let Go"? Anyway you can, David. Thank you - and keep reaching inside and gifting us with your soul's treasures. KDP;Friday, June 26th at 3:51PM

Thank you for the great work with Ambrosia and Alan Parsons. At this moment, I am particularly entranced with APP's "Try Anything Once". Your voice is incredible. I have been a huge fan since 1974 and the debut Ambrosia album. I was lucky to see an Ambrosia concert in the early 80's in Myrtle Beach, SC, my hometown. Like all the rest of the clamoring fans, I am hoping for more.;Saturday, July 4th at 5:58AM

David - I've been searching the net for months, looking for any info I could find on you and/or Ambrosia. Was on a Michael McDonald site and got linked to your site - what a wonderful surprise! So glad to see this site and the number of people who love your music. I have seen you in concert only once - back in 1987, in Atlanta with Michael McDonald - what a fabulous show! I see that several people are looking for your solo ("Anywhere You Go") CD, with no results. I fortunately bought it when it first came out and have made several cassette copies - got to keep the vinyl as perfect as possible - and listen to it often, along with anything else that includes your incredible voice. Now that Mike and Amy have bought a home in the Nashville area (where he is, and has been for several years, very involved in benefit concerts), you need to come here for a visit! It would be absolutely fabulous to hear your voices, together and live, again. Been a Pack/Ambrosia-phile since the first album, and looking forward to much more music from you.;Saturday, July 11th at 6:56AM

Dave, it is nice to see your site taking shape! Your project with Dreamworks wouldn't have anything to do with Terry Taylor's project would it? BTW, I have a fairly exhaustive discography of your recorded efforts, should you want to save rekeying the entries. I can forward it to you or Jean for your proofing I know you get tired of hearing this, but did you get a chance to hear Chuck Girard's new CD I gave you yet? I'm anxious to hear your Warner Resound effort! See ya in Vegas, Your stout & devout pal, Rex;Sunday, July 12th at 8:10PM

25 years and still great. Looking for all of the old stuff on CD! Still have my pyramid... Saw you guys the first time at the Santa Monica Civic in '76. What a good show... Again at the Long Beach Arena opening for Foghat. Only through the desire to see Ambrosia would I buy tickets to a Foghat concert. Well, what do ya know, the wife and I will be seeing you again this friday at the Galaxy. Would love to hear "Dance with me George"!;Wednesday, July 15th at 5:52PM
